A way to say goodbye
After a cremation, ashes are available to be collected by your funeral director. You are welcome to formulate your own ceremony for scattering ashes or to contact me for a bespoke ceremony suitable for you and your loved one.
What You’ll Need in advance:
– The ashes of your loved one or loved ones
– The landowner’s permission
– Or a permit for a cemetery usually provided by your funeral director

The Scattering of Ashes can be as formal or informal as you wish
It is worth bearing in mind, though, that pouring ashes directly into river is not always the best for the fish, whereas in woodlands and gardens they are quickly absorbed into the soil.
You might like to plant a tree or other memorial plant. Again, make sure you have permission to do this before you scatter the ashes.
